Garry holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics from UCLA ('86). He has been tutoring math for several years, including his two children going through high school (one is a senior in high school, the other is working on an electrical engineering degree). He has a gift for explaining math, taking difficult concepts and explaining them in easy to understand ways. Garry lives in Torrance and will travel for in home tutoring math lessons to Torrance, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach, Manhattan Beach, Palos Verdes, and Rolling Hills.

Garry's career has been in the field of computers, where his math skills helped directly statistical analysis for capacity planning, and predictive algorithms; and indirectly with day to day problem solving.

Garry is also actively involved with youth as a boy scout leader, active Torrance High Cross Country and Track & Field supporter, and has mentored boys into young men for many years. Tutoring students in mathematics comes naturally by combining the experiences of a dad, youth leader, and his education in math.
