Sherry has been in our tutoring network for over two years and has done a fantastic job. Before tutoring with our network she taught students during most of her time at college. She is a recent graduate of UC Santa Barbara with a major of earth science.
With her science degree and many courses in advanced chemistry, algebra, and calculus, she is able to tutor all high school levels of math and science, including AP courses and chadwick courses and many college courses as well. She is a great choice if your student is in one of the more difficult AP courses in math or chemistry or if you have a student who is at the college level in math or science. She lives near the top of the hill and will travel to any part of PV, Torrance, and Redondo Beach for lessons.
Sherry is highly driven and focused for a young woman of 24 years and is great at instilling her work ethic into her students.
Having grown up in PV and having attended Palos Verdes Peninsula High School she is especially familiar with the teachers and the PV schools' curriculums. (Both public high schools in Palos Verdes uusally use the same text books for math, science, and English courses.)
