Gills is an in home math tutor for the cities of Aliso Viejo CA, Aliso CA, Mission Viejo CA, Laguna Hills CA, Laguna Beach CA, Ladera Ranch CA, Laguna Nigel CAand Lake Forest CA. He is a third year medical student at UCLA and lives in Mission Viejo CA. He divides his time between his studies and in doing in home math tutoring.

Gills has been tutoring since his 2nd year in college, when he began at the learning center at UC Irvine. He received his bacheloir's degree in biology there in 1998. Following graduation he did well in corporate America but after a great deal of soul searching decided he was meant to be a doctor. This will be his 3rd school year with Mercury Tutors. He has received great reviews from the parents and pupils he has worked with.

Gills' focus is math. He does in home math lessons for all subjects through calculus one AP, and due to his studies in medical school and in pre-med he is also available to tutor some science courses such as chemistry, physics, biology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as other science courses in the K-12 curriculum not mentioned.

As with many of the tutors in the network Gills has a natural ability to explain difficult concepts. Add to this hundreds of students he has tutored and you have a tutor who has really honed his abilities to get virtually every student she comes across to learn his/her subject in a very quick and efficient manner. Gills has a moderate case of ADD himself and is very much a visual learner. When it comes to students who have trouble learning math or science from their books or from their teatchers he is a great person to have around.
