Stacy is a math tutor with our network for the cities of Newport Beach, Huntington Beach, Costa Mesa, and Irvine. She can tutor all math up to and including calculus 1AP. An honors student at the University of California at Irvine, Stacy has done an oustanding job academically and is an inspiration to those she tutors who want to do better in their academic careers.

At age 21 she is one of the younger tutors in the network, but has been in the field since her sophmore year in high school, when she began tutoring her classmates. By a year later she was fully booked as word got out that she could make math concepts easy to understand.

Stacy is now a UCI student majoring in marketing and finance. As such she is able to tutor business related math along with regular math subjects. Please see below for a list of specific subjects.

In addition to tutoring on her own for the past 6 years she has worked in the tutoring center at UCI since the fall of 2008. This is a great place for any tutor to gain valuable experience, as it is not uncommon to see upwards of 5 students in one day while working at the center.

Stacy has a great deal of patience and charisma and is one of our best for connecting with high school and middle school aged students. Her best skill though is in her ability to explain difficult math concepts. It was something she had a knack for since she began tutoring several years ago and she has honed this skill with her countless students over the preceeding years. Additionally she has access to UCI's learning center and the dozens of pamphlets on such subjects as test taking strategies, math anxiety, note taking, and many other topics that can help a student to succeed in math and other scholasitc subjects.
